Choosing individual replacers on the installer will generate one.ESP for each character you choose (vanilla means no esp will be generated). That means you can end up with a lot of.esp files to deal with. It's not a serious problem but I recommend using some sort of merger after the installation to simplify things. Choosing the All Companions and the All NPCs options will only generate 2.esp files (one for the companions and one for the non-companion NPCs).To Update:. Make a Save Game Backup.

Just in case. Uninstall old version. Install new one.It's just a replacer and shouldn't have any issues uninstalling or updating.

I took over Zimonja for the Railroad and I saw the Caretaker nearby, like inbetween Zimonja and Tenpines. But he never showed up. I just figured he'd get there eventually and whatever. Well I trod on over to Abernathy to put in some more beds for the rising population and find the Caretaker there?I mean, I'm sure the Abernathy folks would take in a synth refugee. But it's just so bizarre to me. The safehouse hasn't changed.

Zimonja is still listed as Mercer safehouse, but the Caretaker is chilling in Abernathy.:/.
