It's a bit slower than vanilla, but not nearly as sluggish as when I first started it.

You won't need to wack on something 500(ish) times to level up your skill anymore. I've noticed my enchanting going up a level from just a few disenchantments.

Later on when I get better at scripting, I'm going to make the mod also recognize the difficulty of what you are doing. Your skills will increase faster if fighting stronger opponents, for instance. Realistically if you take down a dragon, you'd be a more experienced fighter than a dear hunter. But fret not, it's not an annoying change like it sounds.
