Welcome, adventurer! Today I’m going to take you on a tour of one of my favorite ships I’ve decorated in Starbound. I have a lot of characters in Starbound, but today I’m going to focus on one of my favorites: Argon!Argon is the Novakid captain of the R.S.S.
The Current State of Starbound. Now, almost six months after the release, the game is in the 1.2.2 version and the developers plan on continuing the support for the title and adding more resources to it. As players look forward to the future of Starbound, it is important to understand what the game is doing right as of now.
Tesla, named after one of my favorite scientists. While his ship resembles most other Novakid ships on the outside, I decided to go for a more hi-tech appearance for the inside. His crew all wear the same black military-esc uniform, while Argon wears a pair of Kluex priest wings to symbolize his authority. The front of the ship has the control room, with digital maps and charts displaying the information the crew needs to accurately pilot the ship. After the control room is the med bay, where crew members can receive the care they need after dangerous missions.Next is the dining hall and the kitchen.
Crew members can relax and enjoy the views of space while they enjoy a delicious meal. You might notice that parts of the ship are not evenly lit. This is because all the lights (and the doors) are activated by motion sensors, which makes it easy to run straight back through the ship without having to open all the doors along the way.The next section is the crew’s quarters. On the top floor there is a bathroom with showers. Each crewmember has their own space, with their personal items stored on shelves and in drawers. This next section is one of my favorites, but it took a while to set up. On the top floor are a few of Argon’s favorite outfits. On the bottom floor is my storage system, using the Item Transference Device that you can make in Frackin’Universe. An Item Network can be a little confusing to set up at first, but it makes it super easy to find everything quickly via the Terminal.
I’ll be making another post about how to set up an Item Network in Frackin’Universe soon.Last, but not least, is Argon’s lab! This is where he keeps all of the equipment he needs to have successful adventures, and to keep his ship running smoothly. I’m probably going to expand the lab a bit to fit in an Armory, since I don’t have one on the ship currently. That’s the whole ship!
